Shoreline Equestrian Center offers Therapeutic or Adaptive Riding Lessons for individuals with special needs or disabilities that promote exercise, motor skill development, and cognitive and social growth.

Sessions are taught by a PATH International therapeutic riding instructor.
Individualized instruction is provided to challenge each rider and help them to meet their goals.

Lessons can include mounted and unmounted equine activities.
Additional support – including horse leaders and side walkers – is provided as needed

There are no make-up opportunities for missed lessons unless SEC needs to cancel class due to unforeseen circumstances.

Attire: Riders should wear comfortable clothing that does not bind, or restrict, the rider’s movement. Footwear is sturdy boots with a quarter inch heel. When weather is chilly, wear several layers that can be easily removed as riders will warm up during the session.
We provide approved riding helmets.
